Facebook is the biggest social networking site where we
can share our ideas, feelings, photographs, videos etc. The
founder of the face book was a twenty year old boy named
Mark Zuckersberg. With the help of some of his friends
he founded Facebook about nine years ago. Facebook has
more fans than any other things in the world. It has proved
to be a boon for all of us. Its popularity has reached such
an extent that most of the people in this world have their
Facebook account.
Using Facebook has got many advantages. As this is a
social networking site, we can know about the current
activities going on in our country as well as in the
world. We can share so many things through Facebook.
Many people can see our achievements just because of
the Facebook. Together with this, we can chat with our
relatives, friends and whosoever we like. We can increase
the number of friends who we would like to chat with. It
helps us to widen the horizon of our knowledge. Someone
can share their difficulties with us and we can be the ones
to help them when required. It can be our friend whenever
we are alone or lonely.
Despite some advantages it has got many disadvantages
as well. Because of getting too much occupied with the
fun through Facebook, we are likely to forget our duties
and responsibilities we are assigned to do. Often we
find it to have been misused in different ways. Because
of the application of the Facebook many leaders and the
VIPs are found to have been harassed time and often.
The photograph of an individual is disfigured or misused
just to trouble the targeted person. Owing to such misuse,
some countries have banned Facebook
To sum up, Facebook does have some disadvantages.
However, strict policies can be formulated and strictly
be implemented. To a large extent, let's be aware of the
consequences of its misuse and promise or plead for its
best application, for the cause of humanity
